01 / Constraint

The client problem

A sensor can remain powered and calibrated while cold, shock, ice, cable forces, or lost preload corrupt the mounting path between the vehicle and the measurement.

02 / Deployment

What we built

Rolu Labs worked with an Arctic defence client to define the product, mechanical architecture, operating logic, failure scenarios, assembly procedures, and verification gates for METIS Rev C4.3. The design separates precision measurement from weather, cable, service, and overload loads.

03 / Evidence

What changed

The program produced a frozen design envelope, selected materials and components, a detailed CAD architecture, simulation screening, and a staged hardware-verification plan. Cold-chamber correlation and field qualification remain ahead.

This public summary is intentionally limited. Manufacturing tolerances, sensor implementation, thresholds, integration data, and verification results remain confidential because the work relates to Canadian Arctic sovereignty. METIS is not yet a hardware-qualified product.
